Director/Producer/Writer

Johnny Kevorkian graduated in Film at the University of Westminster, London. After working on numerous short films and features, including 2nd Unit Directing on 24 HOURS IN LONDON, Johnny then went on to set up Minds Eye Films with Neil Murphy. Through Minds Eye Films he has successfully directed music videos and short films.

In order to move into directing, screenwriting and producing features Johnny established Minds Eye Films in 2000 where he made two short films as a showcase of his talent.
The first film, THE WAKE, a London set gangster thriller which was funded by The Foundation of Sports and Arts. THE WAKE was very successful and was screened at The Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, The Greek Film Festival and The Leeds International Film Festival.

On the strength and success of THE WAKE Johnny went on to make his second short film, SEIZURES, a science fiction, horror. SEIZURES was an extremely ambitious project and was made possible due to a vast amount of support from the UK film industry. Once completed the film premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival and was screened on Film Four. Both films have been acquired the biggest internet based film distribution company, ‘Hypnotic’, Hypnotic are also screening the films on numerous T.V. and cable channels around the world.

Johnny completed FRACTURED in January 2007, a Hitchcockian Thriller which is to be fully funded within the EU. Fractured has recently screened at the Los Angeles Short film festival.

Johnny set up Lost Tribe Productions with Neil in December 2005 and soon found the funding to make his debut feature film, THE DISAPPEARED, a psychological Horror Chiller set in London.
Johnny Directed, Produced and Co-Wrote THE DISAPPEARED, which is now completed.

Johnny will soon begin pre-production on his next feature film project SLEEP THIEF.
